The Murfreesboro Art Collection Challenge

 

Earlier this year the Owner of Fervent Fusion, Mai Harris, wrote an article for the Murfreesboro Pulse explaining the struggle our local artists face and what our community can do to help. You can read the article here:

Here are some ways you can use this very website to support local art:

• Buy Local Art & Music!: You will find a series of artist and band bios on this site. Each one links to their personal sites where you can contact them about buying some of their art work or albums.

• Come to an event and Buy Local Art & Music!: Once a month Fervent Fusion puts on an art & music show at a different location showcasing our finest local artists and musicians. Come out to one and buy some art! ALSO, if you ever attend one of our shows that has a cover charge - that door money goes to pay the bands and to support Fervent Fusion.

• Donate Supplies to Artists: Most of the artist bios featured on this site have a wishlist of supplies they use frequently. Buy a couple of items and send them to:

  We will make sure they make into the hands of the artist(s) you specify so that they can continue making the world a more beautiful and interesting place with their work.

• Shop in Our Store: Fervent Fusion does all that it does for our local artists at no cost to them. The work they do creating is hard enough - they don't owe us anything but to keep on creating. But we could use a little fuel from time to time in order to keep up this work. So shop around in our store - every penny keeps this thing going and some of it goes straight to the artist themselves to fund projects of theirs we're sponsoring. Don't see anything you like in the store? Come to one of our shows. As mentioned above, we pay our bands out of the door money and if there's anything else left over we use it to keep Fervent Fusion going.
