In 2012, Fervent Fusion owner, Mai Harris, connected with a couple of local photographers; Jessica Storvik and Laura Michelle Neal, a couple of local businesses; Out Front on Main and Earthsoul Gallery, and a bunch of volunteers, artists, and just all around awesome people to complete a series of photo shoots which asked its participants to explore the issue of rape culture. Women, and men, of all different backgrounds came to express their support of consent education. They also showed off what it means to be confident about their own sexuality, making the statement: Yes, we are feminists. We are proud of it. We are sexual people, who believe strongly in fighting against rape culture and education the public about what consent means. Here are the resulting photos.
